The Bylaws Committee is responsible for maintaining accurate Bylaws and Policies and Procedures for the Colorado Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.  This work is vital to the operation of the organization.  When new challenges arise to the forward movement of the organization, it is important that current Bylaws and Policies and Procedures be adhered to by the Executive Board and District Representatives.  It is never the intention of the Board to proceed in a manner that  is in violation of these documents and therefore having knowledgeable, responsible people on the Bylaws committee helps to ensure that all actions by the board are done in a legally sufficient manner.  Updating the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures takes a committment to  detail and a willingness to work with the Board to provide review, feedback and revision of these documents for maintaining current copies for our membership and for the legality of our status as a 501(c)(3) organization.
