YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Women mentors are needed to work with incarcerated women or women newly released from prison. We are particularly in need of women who are proficient in sign language.
The Making Choices program of the Center for Spirituality at Work is seeking women willing to receive training and to serve as volunteer mentors in a program that teaches life-planning and decision-making skills to women offenders and to women on parole. Making Choices helps each woman make better decisions with the goal that she will stay out of prison once released and that her children will avoid the intergenerational cycle of crime.
For further information about Making Choices, which involves working with women offenders in prison, or Making Choices Too, which works with women on parole, please contact Amanda Lopez at the Center for Spirituality at Work at (303) 383-1610.

Certification/CMP Information

RID Members - View your CMP Transcripts Online!
The Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) is continually developing ways to make the CMP more accurate and easier to use. A recent major enhancement is our new online transcript database. Instead of waiting for annual transcripts by mail, members can go online to review their CMP records at anytime. With the development of the online transcripts, official transcripts will no longer be sent out to Certified and ACET members automatically. Members will still be entitled to one free paper official transcript annually, but must request a copy from the CMP department at the national office. You will be able to request that transcript anytime during the fiscal year. Once you have received one official transcript for the fiscal year, any additional transcript will require a fee of $10.

The online transcript will enable members to notify the CMP department of any discrepancies in a more timely manner. Please note that upon completion of an activity, it can take up to 60 days for the event to appear on your transcript. If it has been more than 60 days, and the activity still does not appear on your online transcript, you should contact the approving sponsor, or fill out the discrepancy form on the RID web site and send it to the CMP department.

You can review your online transcript on the web site (www.rid.org), under "Searchable Databases." This is a secure database that is password protected for your privacy. You will need to have your RID membership number to access your record.
Please direct any questions to the RID National Office by sending an email to: cmp@rid.org or by calling (703) 838-0030.
